What is the best procedure to bleed the cooling system to ensure no damage to opti unit?

Need to put a rag under the bleeder screw.

Get the car up to temp so the thermostat is open

Bleed the air out.

I'm getting too old.

Went to my basement (Indiana Jones would love this place) and into one of my storage bins and found a 1994 FSM. Contains all I need to know.

I really need a bookcase to keep track of all my tech manuals and dispose of the ones for cars I no longer own.

Sorry for the stupid question.

Also, get the car's front end up in the air, so the bleed nipple is the highest point in the system.
