Electric Quadrojet Questio ...
Hi Friends , my 84 cross fire system looks awsome ... but at the sacrifice in mid and top range "biggy" time ...
sooo ...I found a electric Quadrojet off of an 81 vette with ECM controls like my 84 .. hmm
Questio is ; wil it convey to the ecm on my 84 ... or .. shall I just go
mechanical quadrojet with a perfomer style intake and HEI distributer

You will never be smog legal in CA with a carburator. I wouldn't carb it if you plan on driving it on the street.

I replaced my CF induction with a holley projection TBI manifold and a 7.4L GB TB unit. With a blower hat 2.0 high I have .01 inch clearance.
I should have miiled the manifold top .125- .25 inch.
If you use a adapter plate (.25 in) you may want to consider a weiand low profile single plane manifold or a Edel performer DP if it is short enough with plate.
