Pump just acts as a pulley unless you remove it and install a air pump eliminator pulley. With nothing connected,it will just pump to nowhere
Everything else connected to the pump plumbing goes.Be sure to tape up the elec connectors to the divertor valves as they are hot ; key on.

I would purchase an AIR pump eliminator kit. Using that kit cleans up the front of the motor as it allows for removal of all of the components of the AIR system. There is also a long pipe that goes down to the main cat; you can remove that too. You won't get any codes or SES Light from removing the system.

You will most likely have to modify or build a new support bracket for the rear of the alternator depending on the brand of header. Same for the A/C compressor.

Removing the AIR componenrs really cleans up the engine compartment. You'll need to cap the air tubes on your headers (if they're equipped wth those) or you can cut them off and weld them up to free even more space. Here's mine with the air pump and divertor valve removed along with all the associated lines/hoses. As c4cruiser mentioned, I made a brace for the rear of the alternator, as the old one no longer fit with the headers.
