Help with Climate Control issue look up problem in search still trying to figure out what to do!

heres the symptom and or problem

Turn engine in run position all controls works fine on the climate control unit for 20 seconds and then everything freezes and the blower stop blowing
Also if I put ignition in run position and turn on climate control everything works fine within that 20 second window until I start tthe engine then the unit immediately freezes.

This might point you into the right direction even if the vehicles are diff. It happen to my 04 Suburban and after investigation it brought me to the module for the blower, without the climate control it's called a resistor pack.

Does your 94 have manual or automatic HVAC?

You post implies that you have the C68 automatic HVAC system. Pull the error codes from the system:

You should see SOMETHING. What are the codes that come up on the display?

Early diagnostic links are for everything through '89. '90 and up gives a great deal more so use this Tech Tip for the Codes and Data Stream: https://www.corvetteforum.com/techti...=193&TopicID=2 That will tell you the inputs, door position, etc.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "freezes". If the buttons don't do anything the Controller is the problem - probably a weak solder joint on the board once it heats up, though I'm guessing.

which "CONTROLLER" do you suspect is the issue?

Climate Control Unit or the Blower Control Module?

If you push a button on the Dash Controls and nothing works, then I'd suspect a problem there; ie, at the Dash. It communicates with the Programmer over serial data lines which unless someone got behind the Dash (like to change out the Radio) are pretty hard to open up. Whatever the Programmer gets from the Dash operates everything else including the Blower Motor (Module). The Programmer is the CPU for your Year. Diagnostics are simpler with a Tech 1 which will communicate through the Body Module with the Programmer. If it then works, the Dash Panel is definitely the culprit. Finding one of those - or a Dealer that still has one with the right Cartridge - can be a challenge, though with one, it would probably take all of 5 minutes to figure it out. Anyway, if you're pushing buttons and the Display readouts don't change, I'd suspect the Dash.

00 is the first parameter. You need to "scroll" through the codes by pushing the appropriate button. Varies by year and model. See the links I posted earlier.

In my case I get a result code for 01 through 09. I vaguely recall that 09 is the firmware version.

Check this post for one guy's results to get an idea of what to do and what you will see (all this is described in the FSM -- you do have one, right?):

-00 (note the minus symbol) is the first parameter and is the diagnostics for the C68. Then push auto button for those codes. If no codes are stored the display will show 00 (note:without the minus symbol).

09 for this Year is no gas - doubt that's the problem, but I still don't know what the OP means by "freezes".

No codes are store still reads -00 then press auto button get 00

freezes means what ever button is selected it stays lit and no other funtion works, no up and down button on fan settings or any other funtion unless I turn ignition off and then turn on again the climate control works perfect for 20 seconds and everything stops working

also I replaced Control Module with new one and still the same problem
