Default Hazard Lights

Hey everyone, I'm currently borrowing my fathers 1992 Chevy Corvette since the engine on my car blew out. I was dropping off my sister at the bus stop this morning at 6:15 a.m. I put on the hazard lights on since I waited with her in the car. The button got stuck and I was unable to get it to turn back off. I unscrewed the hazard light switch and the lights were still flashing. So all day I've had to pull out the fuse and drive with them on all day. If I leave the fuse out my break lights and turn signals do NOT work. As you can imagine that's annoying not only to me but the other drivers on the road as well. Is this an easy fix simply by replacing a fuse, such as the silver cylinder ones? I have a hot date tomorrow and would like to fix it before then.

If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it. Thanks

The switch didn't get stuck it's just a weird system. To turn the hazard signals on you push in the central part of the button on the under side the steering column. But to switch them off you just tug or pull the outer part (the cylindrical outer prat that can be rotated around and around) of the switch until the inner part pops out again.
I think that should work or at least it does on my 95.
But I did have the same problem the first time I tried it. First I couldn't find the hazard switch then I didn't know how to switch it off but once I pulled on the outside of the switch it popped out and turned off.

Best of luck on your date.

I tried doing that originally and it didn't work. I noticed that there was a screw in the middle of it and used a screwdriver to see if that would work and it didn't haha.

Then my guess would be that either something got broken or just isn't working. The only why to know is to take the assembly apart and if nothing looks broken put it back together and hope that fixes the problem.
