Default brake puzzle

My friends and I put 6piston Wilwoods on my GS. Everything went well until we had the pump, floor, release misunderatanding. It ends up that the rear brakes are fine. We can not even bleed the fronts. We removed and replaced and checked EVERY part. We tried to run air down the fronts,no can do. We tried to push air back up the fronts, no can do. We re bleed the master. We did everything all of our great minds could think off. We still can not get brake fluid to the front rotors.
Looking for advise and new friends with more brake experience.

Default Re: brake puzzle (zrracer)

that is odd... could the master not be up to the job of pumping up those 6 piston calipers???

how many miles on the car??? how fresh is the master??? how brutal are the miles on it?

if you disconnect the line completely, can you get fluid through at all?

do you have line lock???

there could also be a big air bubble in the antilock, too... I would turn on the car and see if the ABS pump cycles...

Are you getting fluid to the ABS unit behind the driver's seat?

The brakes were working just fine until we did the change over. I do not know if I am getting fluid to the ABS. I did not want to "disturb" the ABS or cause MORE problems.

I have not put fluid just in the lines but I could see if I could push some air through them. I do not have a line lock. The master worked just fine....

You are almost totally screwed. You actually blew compressed air into the brake system. The whole point is to have NO air in the brake system.

My advice, please take this as intended, is to tow the car to somebody with a pressure bleed device and gladly pay the man.

You actually forced compressed air into a brake like?
