Can anyone see how the headlight covers are attached?

I'm pretty sure the covers are attached to the base, then you attach the base to the car. They may just be held in by sandwiching them between the hood and the base as well.

Just so you know your options, have you looked at the rice performance products fixed headlights? 2 years of development he shared here on the forum. Personally, I can't wait till I can paint my car and get a set.
