Take that wire off. Then install a toggle switch under your dash somewhere convenient and run that wire to the switch. This will allow you to turn it on and off at your convenience.
See if you can get some liquid electrical tape (available at a boating store) and then put that and a shrink tube over the splice.

red wires are HOT with key on/run

orange wires are HOT all the time.

or vice versa...

Your wiring is non stock so all bets are off.
The orange wire could be one of the several under hood power feeds;
fuel pump / pump OP switch / MAF relays / etc

If it is factory wiring, it will either be fused or come from fusable links under the battery box.

this appears to be a bypass around the relay.

does that orange wire go to the blk/red wire in the relay?

why people do it that way...I dunno. Soooooooo much easier, safer to simply ground the green grnd wire and go home.

OK i TEST THE CABLE. at this time when I turn key to on. (no start.) the fan stay off.
that is with the orange wire umplug.

now if I plug the orange wire to the battery or to the red wire on the relay. the fan turn on inmediately.

I will have to trace that orage cable and see where it go. also I have to try to run the engine into hot to see if the fan start when reach hi temperature

in your situation with that car, reconnect it and let the fans run all of time.

A orange power supply wire goes to items that are essential for the engine to run that I listed in post #4 above

Maybe time to invest in a FSM that has all the stock factory wiring diagrams so you can put trace and things right ?
