Default 1995 OBD1 to USB

I got my OBD1 ALDL cable in from http://www.aldlcable.com/ . My son and I got it setup and communicating with TTS. All I can say is WOW.. We used to tune by ear and smell..(25 yr ago) LOL yea I am old skool.. My question is can I leave the the cable attached so I can just hide the usb somewhere ? or will the ecm be in limp mode or whatever.. I have been reading everywhere and cannot find where this would be ok or not.. Thx

Will be fine
Cable doesn't alter the settings like on early TPI cars ( w/the 10K resistor to activate diagnostic mode )

What a leraning curve. Datamaster is awesome. Now to fix the maf, keep getting code's also running real lean. I cleaned maf once (with crc spray). Oh and my wife got her first ticket in over 15 years.. Yea it was triple digits. lol
