Working on a 93 and have an issue with the wipers. They work fine when on but when you turn them off they continue to run about 30 seconds. Anyone had to deal with this or heard of it?
I had to replace the do it all directional on my 93. My problem was no wipers and no high beams. Found it on flea bay i think? Not to bad a job.Under 100$ Dave

That sounds like about the same time-out as when you trigger the washer pump. As davewhtt is suggesting, you may have a short in your multi function turn signal stalk. I'd ohm it out before replacing a $100 switch, but that does look like a promising rock to look under.
if you need a new wiper switch (not the stalk, the actual wiper switch in the column) I have a brand new one from Ecklers. I was chasing a non functioning wiper, turned out to be the grounds on the bell housing. Ill let it go for less than they sell it. Just send me a PM.
And if you need the data from the fsm, I think I can send some of it. But its for a 96.
