As far as I know chevrolet really did their homework getting the c4 to be slippery in stock configuration. To be honest i would think you would have to be really moving to get any benefit from any sort of chin spoiler or splitter.

Yes, you have to be really moving, and some drag reduction via aero improvements will move how high, really moving is.
Back to the topic
Are there any proven aerodynamic improvements available?
Not looking for mirror removal and racer-taping seams..
Things like:
Chin spoilers
Splitters
Belly Pans
Diffusers
If so who makes them and what are the improvements?

looks to me like the first step is to vent air and pressure out from under the hood. There is an interesting thread on ax/rr that I hijacked (just a little) to discuss C4s. Somebody reported measuring a 2 psi pressure diff above and below the hood. A pair of vents over the 2 & 3 exh primary looks like a good spot to vent pressure as well as heat. There is a good Cad aero map of a C4 on that thread as well.
Been reading tons of threads about the rear diffuser on c4s.But i dont see any place that sells the aluminum ones.A few on here have built them and they look killer. My hold-up would be welding the aluminum, plenty of build info on here though..good luck

Why not make one out of fiberglass? You make the piece out of cardboard, saturate the cardboard in epoxy, add a layer or two of fiberglass and then you have your diffuser...
Thanks dogfish. I read that thread the first time it came around and would have posted to it, but the new thread age rule probably would have resulted in a lock.

I can tell you that from years of seeing people put all kinds of "aero" parts on their cars.... 90% don't do anyhthing but make it look better... but some do the opposite.
If you want aero parts that actually work, talk to guys that take their vettes to the track because those parts will usually work in some way. The only real functional chin spoiler I've seen was one on a ZR1 that had brake cooling ducts.
You have to be going seriously fast to even have them take effect if any.
The spoiler GM put on there does a decent job at keeping air from going under the car...hood etc. Like the cowl induction. It works but to really see a gain Id bet youd need to be doing 100 or better.

I got it! I understand you have to be moving fast.. I'm looking for high speed improvements.

Here is a nice graph for exactly that info (assuming it is correct):
Well if anyone wants a greenwood spoiler when I get my car here from florida ask and you just might have one, in my mind a corvette is just fine the way it rolls off the assembly line.
