Default Toledo Pro,, WOW!

My body shop got my new Toledo Pro hood yesterday. What a fantastic piece of work it is. If my car was white I could almost just bolt it on! It's going to take minimal prep before painting. Even the shop owner was amazed at how nice it is. The true cowl induction is a slick bit of work too, the hood completely seals to the car just like the original but has functional vents at the rear which will let out a lot of heat so underhood temps will be decreased substantially. They even sink the hood emblem down into the hood for a much smoother appearance. TP you should be very proud of your work.

Sure is nice to still have quality products out there.

I want a cowl induction scoop on my coffin.

you can fit some gauges under the scoop to a plus.

Cowl Induction hoods, Suck cool air "INTO" the top of the engine from the low pressure area at the bottom of the windshield for carbureted or top mounted throttle body intakes.

They do not let hot air out except a little at idle. Tape some string at the cowl vent area and you'll see the string being sucked into the cowl tunnel at speed.

Also, True Cowls Seal to the top of the air intake or top of the throttle body for a complete seal from the engine bays hot air.

That hood makes the Vette look mean though!...

Hmmmm.......I'm confused.

The natural appearance (and color of the gel coat) that mine came in was....

Satin Black. Like the cowl area of the pictures above.

Plus, Midnight85's car is black in the background.

WTF is the hood white? (Why the "F").

FWIW...Here's mine before it was painted...and while I was fitting it....

They are nice. I talked to them several years ago and a carbon fiber was in the works. Wonder if it ever came about?

They really make the car look so much better.
