Has anyone successfully used head studs on a '94-'96 C4? Specifically, once studs are installed, is there then room to remove the heads (especially pass side) without moving or removing the motor?
I am sure the LT1/4 is about the same as the L-98. NO way is the answer. I tried it, you cant get the head on the passenger side. once on you cant get it off.
However, I picked up a set of APR head studs and they have an inset allen head at the end of the stud. This could (hopefully for me) make it easy to install the head, put the studs in. When you go to uninstall, use an allen wrench to get any studs out that are in there a little stiff.
