Had my car for about a month now and with the weather starting to break I've been driving it a fair amount. What is annoying though is the brakes squealing every time I hit them. The pads have plenty of life so I'm not sure why they are so noisy. Is there a particular pad I should be using that is quiet and doesn't make alot of dust? Mine is a casual use car so I don't need racing pedigree pads on it.

Have they always been noisy? If not try a couple moderate stops down to 15mph or so so? It's worth a shot but I have had that help a lot with cars that have sat for a while.

I'd check all four corners to ensure the pads are "free floating"
You can also try an anti-squeal product that is applied between the piston and back face of the pad.
I think instead of throwing money at this setup I'll upgrade to the J55. The rotors and calipers are easy to find but where can I get the mounting brackets? Thx for all the advice so far...

Squeaky pads are fairly easy to fix. Plenty of silencer products on the market and re-bed your rotors. Cheap fix.
