Well boys, after 27 years I have finally parted with my 1986 Corvette roadster. It actually broke my heart to part with it. When my wife signed the title she said it was like signing a death certificate. Its only been six hours and I already miss it. If I had the garage space, I would have never sold it. BUT, the day finally came...
Here are a few photos of the new addition to our Corvette stable:
Nice Vette even if you are a scumbag traitor selling your C4...LOL! I wasn't aware the C6 LS7 came in a vert that wasn't the Blue/White color scheme?
Yup. Torch Red with an Ebony leather interior.
I'll still be hanging out here for a while helping folks with their C4 issues as best I can. And I'll also continue as a C4 NCRS judge helping guys restore their C4's....
Very nice, Pete. I hope the PaceCar went to a good home.
Thanks, Ray. I sold the 86 Pace Car to Rick Hendricks. Not sure what he is going to do with it. I thought he was going to put it in his Hendricks Performance Center, but the other day one of his guys said that they were going to put it on the show room floor at City Chevrolet. I just don't know. BUT I sure hope it goes to a collector as there are tons of original very hard to find parts on it even down to the OEM license plate screws. I'll let you know what happens as the story unfolds.
Hope all is well for you and family there in the UK
