Heads and Cam don't go with the heavy AFS wheels. The 315s really don't gain much more grip over the 285s especially for 1/4 mile times.

That's not that great of a deal on the wheels - if it was like a $1000 or something I would vote for that route.

You guys really need to read, $1650 for four wheels and tires mounted and balanced and shipped is a great deal.

You are right about this, my 285's had more grip(more likely due to a better tire).
The AFS wheels weigh about 5 lbs more each than stock.
