I've got the opportunity to buy a package, Lingentfelter ported heads, Comp roller cam, ported intake, roller rockers, pushrods, etc. for about $1500 all brand new.
Or,
I would buy a set of AFS ZR-1 wheels, silver 17x9/17x11's with tires for $1648.
What would you do?
I'm guessing with the heads/cam package,...I would see a little better power on motor than I am seeing right now on the bottle. Is it really worth it?

Re: Heads/Cam or wheels? (Hi-psi)
I'm taking another approach.
What are you looking out of your car???????
Do you go to the track alot?????
Is there something now wrong with your motor that a H&C change would correct???????
If the answer is no to both questions you may want to think twice.
Everyone wants more power but H&C will need exhaust and gears and other mods to work properly. "Think package" If your not going to do it all you'll never be satisfied.
Now if you just like driving the car the Wheels might be a better choise.
hmm..pay more than the wheels are worth or less than the engine parts are worth...i'd pick up the engine parts. $1650 is what you can pick up REAL z06 forged wheels with low mi supercars for. AFS 5stars are nice wheels and all, just not worth that price.
The car itself has 108k miles on it. The motor has about 4k miles on it. The previous owner had just had a stock rebuild done by a reputable Corvette Shop prior to me buying it. So the motor is VERY solid. 70-75+psi of oil pressure.
Right now I get the almost the heads/cam performance when I spray it. And I do realize that to get the most out of the heads/cam I would need to also buy a fuel pump, possibly new injectors (b/c I think those stockers with 108k miles might be a little weak), Adj. FP reg, headers, gears, HPP, and get the ECM programmed. So,...you're looking at over $2000 for the proper total package.
The car currently has the stock '94 wheels on it with almost brand new Goodyears. But the drivers front wheel has a slight bend on the inside lip, so up around 70-80mph there is a little shake in the car.
This is a daily driver, and I put a lot of highway time on it. I'm not wanting a racecar, just something fun to drive,...which it is now.
If I want to go fast, I have my Turbo TA.
So even though the head/cam parts are a good deal,...I'm leaning a little more towards the wheels.
