Radio stopped working
I have a 1991 corvette with the tape/radio player. The radio will only power up with the orange glow. no display or sound will work. I checked all the fuses on the side door panel. Is there a fuse in the back of the radio i dont know about or else where? Or do I just need to get a new radio?
I know all the speakers have there own amp and they wont work if they are broke but the radio straight up wont display anything but an orange glow.

Time for a new system
If the Bose does not work you can have it repaired by Dr. Don. First you would need to determine if the problem is in the head unit, which has the ***** and buttons and CD and tape player, or the electronics, which live in a metal box under the dash on the passenger side, or if the speakers and/or amps are bad.
When my CD player did not work and one of the speaker amps went away I put in a new system with new speakers and wires. It was less than fixing the old system would have cost and everything was new. I got a Kenwood with HD FM radio, Pandora, and a USB port on the front. I stuck a flash drive with a thousand or so of my favorite songs on it, set it to random, and let it play.
Call Dennis at DD Mods and he will set you up with everything you need.

When my CD player did not work and one of the speaker amps went away I put in a new system with new speakers and wires. It was less than fixing the old system would have cost and everything was new. I got a Kenwood with HD FM radio, Pandora, and a USB port on the front. I stuck a flash drive with a thousand or so of my favorite songs on it, set it to random, and let it play.
