I have an 89 coupe. All 4 of my freeze plugs were leaking. Mine did not go that far back but created a huge puddle. So I could not say if it is the same, but that would be the first thing I would check the rear freeze plugs are easy it's the front ones that suck0.0
Not sure of your year, but I kept finding small leaks on passenger side rear, and I know my heater core is bad, but, even after I bypassed it using the NAPA u tube, it continued to leak.
After a couple of WTF, it was coming from a bad heater control valve.
Got a reproduction unit, and it stopped leaking, hold pressure.
Of course, heater core is still bypassed, as it still is leaking. That's a winter project.
My 86 developed a leak between the intake and the head. It was leaking at the right rear corner of the intake. No oil or coolant mixing. The bolts were loose. I tightened them up and so far it is holding. The proper fix is a gasket replacement and the guys here recommend RTV on the intake bolts.
