Default Three way check valve by Distibutor

Check to see if the three way check valve by the distributor is shot. New ones are cheap.

Should be wrapped up with the ECM harness on the right side of the Firewall behind the right Head. The check valve you're looking for is on the other side. Never understood the engineering. Source is from the right side of the Plenum to the Check Valve near the Booster, and then back behind the Distributor to the ECM harness and through the Firewall to the Dash Controls (or Programmer depending on whether it's Manual or Electronic Air).

Well Ive got an update for u guys.
First found the Vacum sorce ebow down by the blower right by the heater control shut off then was buried in the loom and went up by the right side cyl head by the dist still didnt find exactly where it went into the firewall but down by the blower it did have vacuum.
The slide temp that goes from hot to cold was real hard to move and it poped off and stayed on hot It was real uncomfortable to drive around in it when it was 80 yesterday so I pulled the radio and climate control head and found the problem Check these photos out

A frick in rats nest

After digging out the instulations nest I found the little bugger and it was hard as a rock and long gone. Thank god it didnt stink because they usually do
Check out the orange vacuum tubing that it chewed up. I think thats one one the main lines and I found some dual line that is gray and black that supplies the climate control head with vacuum chewed up and broken in half

Gonea dig deeper into all the vents and air boxes to dig out more nesting material. Not much air comes out and this being my first vette thought thats just the way it was but now dought it.
Thank god the little bugger died and didnt chew up any wires
