1988 slp runners causing leak

We did pull the runner off and shave a little bit. Broke another injector connector in the process. $15 Napa to replace then soder it together. Thats the second one to fall apart. Old brittle plastic under the hood. Anyway the plenum is off right now to re-screw the plug for the extra vacuum line. My 1988 doesn't need it. Cross threaded the first one due to no room. Now have to tap it and repair the threads. Always something ! Constant this or that with old cars. All things considered pretty minor at this point.

I drove it last night for the first time beyond going in circles around the block. I went on the freeway and the response is absolutely dead on. It isn't the same car anymore. When the runner was off we ground it down a little bit and the runner no longer touches the injector. Nice and clear of it.
