Has anyone seen or actually bought just the lower part of the stealth ram? Can you get a part no.? I have the part no. for the upper and lower but I want to fabricate my own plenum to fit under the hood. I need to know if you can purchase the lower part alone. Thanks
Cut the bottom off of the plenum, machine from the bottom up and have the bottom welded back on. Then machine for th throttle body. Should be pretty simple.
I suppose if you've got the knowledge to bodge something like this up than it's not an issue...but how the heck do you tune the REST of the car to handle this intake? I realise the rest of the intake is an excercize in plumbing, but how to you tell the ECU how to handle the additional airflow? MAF or MAP?

Old MAF would be a problem because it has a top on airflow. MAP doesn't matter because its based on percent of pressure. Thus it really doesn't know if 100 cfm or 10,000 cfm is coming in, just the pressure.
I wish someone would post if this thing is plumbed for "street" use.
