Default Mystery wires

While removing the shift console from my 1992, I found three wires clipped and taped. An orane, a black, and a pink/black. They were directly under the console by the power seat switches. Clipped ends are by the drivers seat belt receiver and there is a black connector attached to the console frame. I checked my FSM, no joy. Also couldn't find any threads with this issue. Thanks for the help. BTW the car is an LTI automatic with sport seats.

Doug

those are the aux wires that GM put there. Never hooked to anything from the factory, but it is a set of power wires that are there for you to take advantage of, back when the car was new a lot of people had radar detectors and used those as a hardwire power, or in a more modern setting, you could use that and wire in a connecter for your cell phone and have a built in charger in your car.
