Default fuel system

good day, my front tbi stopped working, the electrical connector has fire to it and I had a new injector installed and it still is not functioning , can anyone tell me where I should look next thank you any help appreciated.

Could be something as simple as a ruptured line connecting your fuel pump to the metal pipe above it. That's what happened to me.

You should be able to hear the injector clicking when the engine is running. A mechanic's stethoscope is good for this.

You said you have power at the injector. The ECM applies ground pulses the injector to fire it. Maybe that part isn't happening?

If you have both the 12v and ground pulse, have you ohm checked the injector?? Not sure of the value but you could compare it to the one that is working..

I will check the pulse and compare with the rear t b I I have mechanics advising me to replace the intake and the t b I system and install a carb, is that a good idea, and will I run into other problems.

That is a really stupid idea (my opinion). You need better mechanics who understand fuel injection.

I believe both injectors have the same injector driver. If that's true then you should be able to measure close to zero ohms between the two connectors (pin to pin).
