With all the talk with Scorp and company in our motor buildup projects, that I'd watched all of YOUR motor projects, but I didn't have and photos of MY completed project. Right now it's awaiting bigger fuel injectors, (accidently installed 24 lb. units from an 85-88 IROC...which would explain lean conditions I've been seeing) but aside from some possible programming updates, it's in final form.
Looks good..How did you like the headers? That is the next thing on my list but i am not sure if i should go with the TPIS or the Hookers..
They were a PITA....but I've heard they're LESS of a PITA than LPE, and TPIS are supposed to fit and flow better but are much more $$$.
They would have fit better if I didn't have the EGR stuff (the passenger side was the thoughest, and THAT was because of the EGR pipe sticking up in back.)
It would have helped if I'da had the bolts/gaskets/instructions included, but they got lost in shipping from my motor builder.
I've got an auto (note tranny dipstick) and the Y-pipe clears nicely, but rubs slightly on the drivers side footwell. It 'relieved' part of the fibreglass (just a notch really) on the first couple of drives and hasn't gotten any worse since.
Driver's side installation was a BREEZE.
And I'm sure Scorp will attest: the last bolt on the passenger side (Cyl 8) Is a Biyatch.
