Default "Narrow" Rollers needed for LT1???

Not to be a Cheap Bastard, but are there any other "narrow" self-aligning Roller Rockers available for the LT1 besides the Crane Gold @ $300?

What defines "narrow" and are they a Must?

To go into a '95 LT1.

Thanks!

I don't know about any other narrow rockers for the LT1's. But, I bought my Crane Gold RR's used from a forum member for $175, and they work great. Most of the used RR's that I have seen for sale on this forum are really low mileage and will probably last just as long as a new set.

Thanks...didn't really think about "used". I'll check the C4 Parts Wanted / For Sale and, errrrr, E-Bay Motors (if NEW in Box only)

look in Jegs, Proform sells a set of narrow body self aligners for like 169 brand new,,,,you get what you pay for, but for a average street car they are fine............

DR'76,
Comp makes a Rocker that works fantastic too, they are a little better on price, 30-40 dollars worth and are rebuildable, made of chromolly for added strength and durability. in most cases the drip tabs will be cut to make room for the rockers under the valve cover, shoot me an email if you need some more specifics, i would be glad to explain it to ya!

Best Regards,
Chris Polanski

Thanks for the info. I'll look into those Proforms @ JEG's and zap an e-mail to you Icvette for more info. Rebuildable? That sounds interesting! :yesnod:
