Testing IAC
I posted a similar thread in scan & tune about this and did get some response but my question is still unanswered. I am having issues with my IAC and I am trying to use a noid light to see what it is doing. Does anyone know how a noid light acts when testing an IAC? Are both lights supposed to be on at the same time? Does red mean the IAC is retracting or extending? Shouldn't there be some sort of action between the two lights when the engine is running? If anyone can tell me what to expect to see when I plug the noid in & switch on the ignition I would be grateful. I have already searched Google many times and the instructions that came with the kit only describes injector operation.
