Quitter! C'mon Larry, there were at least 5 more cam / cubic inch / intake combos to try before letting her go.

Always enjoyed following your threads with the great detail and pics and the discussions through PM.

You built a hell of a C4, best of luck with the C5/6. Mine has also had diminishing returns lately and thoughts of selling are getting strong...

The next plan was an LS with a magnuson SC, and my car would still be worth $3000

Best of luck Steve! I'll be in the Z06 section

Wow....Assuming your garage pics are representative of the great condition your car appears to be in, I'm surprised it wouldn't fetch AT LEAST double that.

Gregg, I could have held out and got "maybe" $8500-$9000, but it was not worth the wait for me honestly.

AND, the guy just picked up the car and drove away, very, very sad, it was a beautiful ride with the new paint jobI just hope it is dependable for him with no issues.

Hey man...extra money is ALWAYS worth the wait! Sell now...during prime sports-car weather, then buy when it's cold.

Oh well...money is just money. (He says to himself after blowing the opportunity to invest in skyrocketed Tesla stock!)

Seriously, it'll be a tough day if/when I decide to do what you've done. It was (is) a nice ride you built! Extra Kudos for the HSR work you did!

(I've got HSR in the garage just begging me to put it on. I can hear it calling at night! LOL)

Edit: You really didn't let it go for just $3k, right? Sheet, your coil-overs were worth that!

Oh yeah...Where does it show what member # you are?

Take care Larry and thanks again for all your help you gave me on the FAST wiring and the intake tube. I'd be lost without ya!

So whats next?
From what I've heard Rick made an absolute killing parting it out $$$$$$$ Its really hard to sell these cars fully modified. No one, except for us, really appreciates or understands what they are getting. After 2 months of trying to sell mine i decided to keep it. But in the future if i ever decided to sell i may go the parting out route. Can make more than i have invested in the whole car.

But i plan on getting to the track now

Larry, you helped me out many times over the years and am sorry to see you go. If you had been closer, I would have jumped on your car.

Good luck with the C6!
