next...redo...
Now, it looks like the next on the todo list is a redo on my throw out bearing!
I just want to review this one more time;
1) My 84 4+3 had a squeaking while driving, until you pressed in the clutch. The throw out bearing was indicated as the problem.
2) Car had about 88k miles, so I replaced clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, TO bearing and pilot bushing.
3) Everything was great, until about 92k miles and with the clutch in, I periodically get a sort of growl sound, push the clutch in and let it out and it goes away -but sometimes comes back and is seems like more when I first start out in the am.
4) Most feel that this is also a TO bearing noise? If so, why is there no squeaking with the clutch out? The kit was a basic advanced auto kit.
So, it is possible that after only about 4k miles I will have to replace the TO bearing again -or is there any other thing that I should check?
Thanks
