1994 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 Coupe Fastback. Is there anyway to limit the horsepower output, engine RPM, vehicle speed, or all the above when valet parking?
I'd take the truck and let them park it. Either that or walk a couple blocks. Seriously, I won't let anyone I don't know and very few that I do drive my Corvettes.
I'll never do valet parking unless it's some sort of requirement. While the valet guys may be the most courteous people in the world, they do not get behind the wheel of my Corvettes. Period.
Even if you could limit engine RPM to say 1000, the car will still accelerate in a parking garage. The car will still corner like a sports car and that can be as big a problem to an uninitiated valet parker as having full power available To answere your question, there may not be any device or tuneable fix to severely limit engine power.

If stock, you have less hp than many mid/high-end sedans. I wouldn't worry about it.
I'd be more concerned about them running the front end over the concrete parking stops and screwing up the air dam or scuffing the underside of the front bumper.
The hotels in downtown St. Louis Missouri REQUIRE valet parking to park in their parking garage or else you park in a public garage. Don't want to leave it to valet and don't want to leave it in a public garage. It is NOT about walking, I walk to the ballpark from any hotel.
As a former valet, I would never valet my car. You would be surprised how many valets can hardly drive stick and then you have the expected irresponsible kids. I would take the park in a public garage option and just put it one floor below the roof. Usually its not that crowded up toward the top.

That’s a great point and is a huge factor. Most of the young people today have never driven stick. A lot of us grew up driving stick and where ordering a new car that had a automatic transmission was a more expensive option.
I have valet parked my 94 car a couple times at a high end hotel in Orlando for dinner and business. They get a lot of high end cars there where some them probably have 250+ HP and can move. But a corvette is a corvette. However if I had C6 or something or better than I have my attitude might be a lot different.
Most of the time we have taken the 98 Jeep for valet parking events.
I did park cars full time and part time at beach clubs and weddings and other affairs. We had a lot of room to play around and "drive" the car. At some hotels it goes right into the garage where there is not much room to do anything "fun". Will never forget the LeMans and corvette we had with 4 on the floor at the beach club.
