Digi dash functions with 730 swap?
Just realized I'd posted in the c4 tech...anyway, I'll post here now- I know some of ya'll have done the 730 swap-what functions on the dash did you lose? And any ideas on how much would be lost with the 808(5D tdf) swap?

You will lose you instant/avg mpg along with milage left to drive. All other functions should be fine. The speedo will work just fine. The speedo gets its info right from teh tranny. You will have to splice into those 2 wires for the ECM. I mean to give the ecm the speedo info . For TCC lockup...etc..

Has anyone considered modifying the $8D code (for '730) in such way that it would output the $6E (and $32?) ALDL stream to keep all digital cluster gauges active?
I am currently exploring this possibility if I can find out that in what mode the $6E ALDL is when outputting to the digical cluster and what exactly is
the stream format. :crazy:
