Fan Switch thru Firewall????
I'm installing a manual fan switch on a 91, L98 Auto Coupe. Where is the easiest place to penetrate the firewall with the wires going to the fan relays? Mid America says to go through with the Cruise Vac Line.
Seems I saw some posts saying there was an easier access?

I went in on the driver's side, sort of near the cruise and mounted the switch to the right of the stereo. Mr. Nuke, those 17" sawblades and 315's are on the car and look sick! :D:D:D:D

There should some rubber "bungs" on the firewall that are unused. I took one out and made the correct size hole and slid the wiring through. I believe these unused "bungs" were used for linkages on a manual Vette. Hope it helped.

I don't see any reason to go through the firewall. I routed my wire behind the weatherstripping on the driver window, and then right down by the battery. You can't even see the wire. Much easier than going through the firewall. IMO
