Default Extra temp sensor placement???

I want to put an extra water temp gauge in my '89 TPI L98, but I have Sanderson headers and it is too tight to the headers on the right rear head and the left front head has the Digital fan sensor.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Do the TB coolant bypass trick and then use the redundant hole that had the coolant pipe nipple ( shown above the CTS in pic below ) as the position for the temp sensor
or move the Aux fan switch there and mount new sender in the head

Or wire the Aux fan to run with the main fan making the fan switch in the head redundant and then use that hole for the new sensor

Thanks, great advice.
One concern...if I use the hole that had the coolant pipe nipple, will that have water at the engine's hottest temp?

Is immediately below the thermostat and in same location as the CTS that gives engine temp indication to the ECM
It is well documented that the temp seen at SBC outlet/ stat will vary from that seen in the heads.

I guess I would have to use an electric gauge, don't think a mechanical gauge's bulb would fit in there???
Thanks.
