How to Aim your headlights( adjust them)
Ive searched and cannot seem to find anything anywhere on how to acutally aim your headlights?
my driver side headlight is pointing down too far and i want to adjust it up.

First you need to get them up with the lights turned off. First, turn on the ignition, then turn on the headlights all the way so they pop up and turn on, then turn the headlight switch back 1 position to running lamps which will turn off the headlights but leave them in the "up" position. The ignition can now be turned off and they will stay up. Then see what Kmcoldcars said... there are 2 small recesses in each headlight body, under each of these is a phillips adjusting screw. To aim the headlight up, screw in the top screw... how far you screw it in depends on how much adjusting is needed. I suggest you find a place near one of your regular routes that has a flat parking/loading area and a vertical wall. Use this arrangement to help you adjust the headlights so the top of the regular beam is the same height as the top of the headlight lamp at a distance of about 40 feet. Don't take this approach as the gospel but it works great for me. The horizontal adjustment is up to you but most people have them pointed outward slightly ("wall-eyed" LOL). Hope this helps.
