I assume you already know you have to use a different flywheel then your '85. You can use any clutch made to fit your '85.
I am using an '86 flywheel and a stock clutch with no problems.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I just wanted some reinforcement. I have a 12.75" flywheel for a one piece rear seal that I bought with the motor. Thanks again. Did you have any problems installing this engine? Did you have to modify the crossmember so that the larger dampner would fit?

Besides the fact that the '85 EGR system won't work on a ZZ4, everything else should be ok or made to work easily. I swapped out the large balancer for a new '85 balancer. Didn't like the idea of "clearancing" the crossmember. -Jeff
