I don't have nitrous, but I just wanted to say that looks like a nice setup. With a convertible, thats probably how I'd do it (and a can of fix a flat like Z06's!)..
For the comment what would you do if rear-ended....would you feel safer having the bottle mounted right behind the drivers seat?
Of course with that setup it is next to the fuel tank. I dunno...
That is how I have mine installed much better than drilling holes in the floor also nos will not burn with out fuel.
The problem with this setup is the potential for a nasty situation if you are rear ended. The spare tire is part of the crash structure of the rear of the car. Without the spare the structure is compromised. That increases the likelihood of a ruptured fuel cell. Combine that with 20 pounds of oxidiser (N2O) and you will see that there is plenty of fuel on tap to create a cause for concern.
It might be my poor vision - but do you have the pickup tubes on the bottles turned towards the front of the car?
Do you have a pressure guage mounted somewhere? Maybe a remote one? I would be concerned about high bottle pressure since they are situated directly next to some toasty tail pipes and mufflers -- especially during the summer where the road temps can soar.
Nice set-up "Aeh" but never make a quick stop with someone on your tail.
Just hit the juice and get the "H" out of the way - "Aeh"
