So I'm prob dead on but this is only a c6 thing? Would it be possible to do on our c4's? or is there a cutout like this one that is designed for our cars that will be as good as I've read MtW to be?

Are you looking for an electric exhaust cutout? Try www.SpeedwayMotors.com p/n 447-254 This is an exhaust cutout kit rather than a muffler baffle control, as is used in the C6.

That seems pretty pricey for a mute button... has anyone tried one?

I've got the B&B Fusion on my C6Z. Great system and indeed pricy.

QTP makes up to 4.5 inch cutouts from what I recall.

For 2 3in it was around $280 last time I checked.

Thats not to unrealistic, Any personal experience with QTP or any cutouts? is 280 worth it trying to still keep a full exhaust catted for legal purposes in Ontario?

Seem to have gone up to 358 from them. Maybe I am thinking of another company.

You will also spend 50 or so getting them welded on. They work well and sound mean but dont always mean more power.

supercharged cars benefit from less restrictive exhaust so you likely will pick up some power. Just use the paint method to find out where to put them.
