86 transmission

would i be able to put an 4l60E in my 86 to replace the 700r thats starting to slip. i have the silverado with one and i was wondering if it would fit and what all would i need to do the swap

The 4L60E requires a trans controller... That costs $1000.00.

would the 4x4 be able to be removed and replaced by my tail piece and when can you buy a trans controller

I would just have the 700R4 rebuilt with the latest updates and save the hassle.

how can i make sure that the transmission i have is not s 700r4. It has a shift cable and a kickdown cable or a tv cable. but it also has a plug in on the side with a bunch of wires
