Default SES Code 33 and 34

I pressure washed the underside, underhood and fenderwells of my 1986 Corvette Convertible and several days later (let it dry out for a while)...drove it home. After starting it...it'll stall and the "service engine soon" light comes on. I drove it for about 1/2 an hour and stopped @ the store on the way home. Got in it ....started it up and no "service engine soon" light and it started right up and stayed running. Left hard from a stop light....engine stumbles and the SES light came back on. I did the paper clip trick and it blinked a code 33 and a code 34. Info gleened via the internet concluded MAF high and MAF low. should I remove the relay and blow out the connections ar is the MAF suspect .....Thoughts?
Thanks in Advance.

A fault code indicates a problem somewhere in the whole system ( wiring / relays / connections / grounds ? etc ) ;
not that just the major item of that circuit has a fault.
Work through the diagnostics

The computer is registering that ; but "that " is actually a voltage and it is out of a range the computer expected to see under
certain specific conditions which as I detailed above could be due to a simple wiring fault , not actually a faulty MAF unit
