brake squeal
Hello all,
I recently swapped out the front brakes on my 87' to the J55 big brakes and twin piston calipers. I had to go to the special conversion brackets from C.C.
My problem is the brakes are squealing terribly and it is driving me nuts.
I have had the rotors returned and installed new A.C. Delco brake pads and it is still there. It does not squeal below 10 or 15 mph, but at higher speeds. if you brake real hard it won't do it.
Am I missing something, could inexpensive rotors cause the squeal?
