Simple performance upgrades 86 c4?

Default Simple performance upgrades 86 c4?
The car is sitting for a bit due to a bad transmission, and at this point it seems to be best to get a trans that will handle some more power for any upgrades I may do. This got me to thinking... What can I do to the car for more power without pulling the motor yet. It's a bone stock motor in an 86 early vette. Any recommendations?
