I was thinking of maybe putting some chrome valve covers on my new
heads I am installing. Just a thought at this point. Can't decide between
the stock steathy look or show off?!? I was looking for the ones with the
red bowties in the middle. Does anyone know how much these are and
where I can find them? Also Will they work on LT4 Heads?
You gotta coordinate...if you have chrome in other parts of the car, then go for the chrome covers, if not...I would stay away..just one humble mans opinion...
Sure will. I have them on my 92 Coupe. Most important is the fact that they allow the alternator to fully rotate down in front of the valve cover with just a minor grinding to the bottom/back of the alternator housing. This is a major problem with other (aftermarket) valve covers.

Those look good. My question is on the passenger side I have a tube that hooks in the side of my stockers (intake side) and goes to the T/B yours
looks a little different. Did you modify it or were the 92-93's different?
if you're looking for an economial solution for valve covers, i had mine sent to jet-hot and coated with sterling 1300, looks like polished aluminum and it only cost 65.00!!

Hey Purp, Is the recirc hose on the passenger side a stock GM part? If so for what year vette? As James mentioned the stock LT4 (1996) has the hose coming out of the side of the valve cover not the top. It's towards the rear on the passenger side.
Thanks for any info.
:)
Another question. Does anyone know if the GM covers listed below fit the LT4? Do they clear the 1.6 RRs without modification?
