Dead 96 LT-4
Well my 96 quit in the driveway the other day. It would crank but not fire up. Check all connections and everything seemed fine, so I had towed to the dealer. The ECM was getting power but no power coming out. It was replaced and the new one quit too. So another one was ordered and they went through the harness and cleaned all the grounds. Still no luck so it appears the opti spark is bad, 104k miles on the car. I had the car fax from when I bought the car and it showed a water pump replacement in 2011 at 91k miles. By chance I called the repair facility which is 200 miles from here and they had replaced the opti spark when the water pump was replaced. Now I'm waiting to see if a new opti spark cures the problem.
