Default Good progress on the 84'(was in despair)

ok lads,
Replaced ECU.
Fuel pump now pumps fuel strongly to REAR injector: front does not
squirt, but I'll figure that out I'm sure: esp since it WAS firing just a week+ ago.

Bummer for me is: I left the fuel tank with only a cloth over the hole, + car cover(cheap one).
well, you guessed it: we got some hard rain and sure enough I've got water in the gas.
Well, I'm taking steps to dry it out..

The main issue I wanna check with you fellas on is:
I found #1 TDC, ensured rotor pointed between 1 & 8 wires...
Had my lovely assistant crank it over, and I could NOT find the pulley line up with the mark at all, with the light??
Rolling the distributor left & right a bit didn't help either..
Why can't I see my timing mark?

Thanks,
Rich

Did you disconnect the EST connector (tan wire with black stripe)? If not then the ECM put in 20° advance and the timing mark is at about 12:00.

The outer ring on the harmonic balancer could have shifted. Happened to me on two different Corvettes.
