Time for new front brakes
Need your opinion. 96 LT4, some autox. Front rotors are worn out and I am looking for a reasonable replacement. Let me what worked for you.

I have Performance Friction Z-Rated pads all the way around. Autozone sells them. $69 frt. 59$ rear. I also put on new stock rotors. I LOVE these Pads. Once there is some heat in them, they stop HARD!!! I also installed Braided stainless lines. I occaisionally get a squeak or two, but it's not bad... :cheers:

The consensus is that unless you do ALOT of racing, you should stick with stock and just get the best pads, which would be Performance Friction Z. You could always upgrade to C5 brakes or Baer if you want an improvement.

I think the stock brakes are pretty good as well, but since I had to spend the money for new rotors I thought there might be a nice step up available without going overboard. Thanks for the feedback
