Cat Removal Question
I am ready to drop my cat but before I can do this there is a circular 'clamp' that covers the pipe out of the cat that connects to the pipe ASM. Does this clamp need to be reused?? The only way it looks like I'll be able to get it off is by cutting..... Is there (another) special tool I'll need to remove this clamp??

If you can get a screw driver in there, you can pry it open. Sometimes you can reuse them sometimes you can't. What are you putting in place of the cat? Different cat?

I used TWO screwdrivers,one on each sidetwisting in opposite
directions. Then used sidecut pliers to clamp it back together,but
not to hard!!
