Have a 91 base coup. Car starts and runs great almost all the time. I have noticed that after I drive with the air conditioning on for a while, I have a hard time getting the car to start. Feels like it's not getting fuel. After a while it will run fine again. Could it have something to do with the computer and after driving a while it either re-sets or re-learns?
Some things to check:
1. Any trouble codes indicated (check eng. light)?
2. Hard starting with hot engine..... ignition control module.
3. Run a fuel pressure test.
Have you tried using a different key during the no-start condition?

Thanks in advance for the help.
Check fuel pressure regulator. Pull the hose going to it and see if you smell fuel. If so, FPR is shot. If not, tape the fuel pressure gauge to the glass. See what it is when you turn the key and then turn off. See what it drops to in an hour, two hours, and 3 hour. If it doesn't drop too fast, it is probably ok. Startup car and see what pressure it gets with the hose off. Put hose back and run car. Do a WOT run and see if pressure drops. Shut off engine, crank and see what pressure you get.
How good is your battery? Test it. How good is the starter? I had the problem you described but it was an oil soaked bad starter. Also get someone with a VAT 40 to check your draw from the starter to see if the wiring is good.
Thanks for the quick responses. The problem only occurs after I have run the A/C for a while. Otherwise it starts and runs great?????
It is possible that the problem is temp related, as running with AC
will increase the operating temp. Next time check to see the difference in temp running AC, and without AC........ may not be a big difference.
