Default L98 single plane elbow

I am planning on putting a victor JR single plane on my 86 and I am wondering if anyone knows if the Nitrous Outlet elbow will fit under the stock hood. Are there any other options for fitting under the stock hood?

Thanks

..... How about this ? ... Allows ALL the OEM hook-ups ... minimizes fabrication ... and fits under the C4 hood ... see my post in the parts for sale section for more pics and details ... FWIW ... I tried the Victor E and the biggest problem was that the front water crossover for the thermostat is too high for an OEM-style throttle body ............

409...

why not go the distance and just slice out a few inches of plenum immediately behind the TB mount plate and move the TB mount back to make the "upper" plenum square so the things acts more like a continuation of the base plate plenum?

That would (looks like anyway) get some working room for the T-stat neck of some sort...
Just a thought.

I saw that and read about it. I am not concerned about having factory hook up for anything as I currently have a miniram and everything is changed anyways. The only concern is location/configuration of throttle cable bracket, which on the phone said they could put it where ever it was needed. After talking on the phone with them I believe it is short enough to fit under the hood, but I am worried that the TB might not be angled downward enough to clear. On the victor e intake; I looked at that and I will probably go with a remote thermostat housing. I also liked the pic I saw on here of the guy with a tube welded to the front of the coolant crossover with the tstat forward facing. Also, although I do have access to a tig welder, I am not comfortable welding aluminum for the fabrication that would be necessary for the solution that you posted. I am more of a plug and play kinda guy... (sounds dirty ). I have seen several sheet metal elbows around here but not where people got them from. (Maybe they made them???)

Thanks

..... That would be fine but there is still the issue of clearance above the fuel rails for the IAC and throttle linkage , especially when combined with the TV cable access for A/T cars ... besides , most everyone has access to a TPI plenum that's cheap if not free ... and the less hacking and welding that's done , the more likely it will fit up to all your original necessities like air intake plumbing , vacuum hoses , and throttle linkage , TV cable ( no need to revisit high school geometry ) and even Cruise control ... very plug n play ....
