Default o2 threshold reduction

After much much work I've got my modded '86 running pretty well with an apyp $6e bin, running 13.7 afr. One thing I've been toying with is the AIR system, which is still on the motor. I've gotten good results just shutting it down by setting the activation temp way high. But I get what seem to be at least equally good results with it on.

One thing I did was to assume the old setup isn't running at 100% efficiency. My threshold reduction for the o2 point was 103.8mv. I figured the old system isn't going to throw more air at it, likely less, so I backed it off to 88.5mv. Still playing with it, but I notice no ill effects from it, in fact it might run better than no AIR this way.

I haven't seen much posted anywhere about modifying the o2 threshold reduction parameter. Just wondering, does it sound like I have a good idea, setting it for a richer point on an old system?
