Default Bilstein FX3 installation

I just got my new shocks in today but won't be able to install them for a couple days. I can install the shocks, no problem, but I was wondering if it would require any special calibrations considering its an FX3 shock. Can I just throw'em on and be good to go? The LAST thing I wanna do is put the shocks on and find out I had to do something special and ruin a brand new set on the first bump I hit. If I absolutely have to, I'll run it in to the dealership and have them install them but I'd much rather do it myself considering how easy it looks.

Also, how long does it usually take to break the shocks in? I know it'll ride about an inch or so if they're brand new and my car is high enough as is.

Torque the top nut (:nono: NOT the selector gear, the nut below it - use a deep socket) to 31 lb ft. Make sure that in doing so, you position the selector gear at least 5mm above the top of the cup assembly. This is to make sure the actuator can grab the selector gear. Make sure you clear the old stored error codes, otherwise the service ride control light will not go out even if everything is in working order. If you need more info, there are several excellent posts on this topic - try a subject search.
